A quick trip up to the plot after work this evening to sow some peas (variety is called Hurst Green Shaft) and climbing beans (Sultana).
James has been running to the allotment and back as part of his triathlon training to water the plot most evenings and it has definitely made a huge difference. The onions are fattening up nicely, the broad beans have doubled in size and have started to flower since we planted them a couple of weeks ago and the potatoes have emerged! All very exciting.
